Young tigers, this one’s for you! Our Kids’ Races are designed to introduce children to the excitement of obstacle racing in a safe and fun environment, with two race distances tailored to different age groups. The 600m race is perfect for ages 4-7, offering smaller, age-appropriate obstacles for little ones to explore and conquer. The 1200m race is geared toward ages 8-14, adding a bit more distance and challenge for older kids looking for an adventure.

Both distances are packed with exciting, kid-friendly obstacles, letting young racers test their strength, agility, and determination on a fun course made just for them.

We recommend wearing moisture-wicking, athletic clothing that allows for flexibility and comfort. Trail shoes with good grip are ideal for tackling obstacles and rough terrain. Bring a change of clothes for after the race—you’ll likely get muddy!

What’s the difference between the Open and Competitive categories?

The Elite Race is for experienced racers who want to go head-to-head for the best time, often with stricter rules on obstacle completion. The Open Race is more flexible, allowing participants to take on the course at their own pace and focus on having fun.

Will there be any food or water available at the event?

Yes, hydration stations will be placed along the course, and food and beverage vendors will be available in the festival area for participants and spectators to refuel and enjoy the day.

Not at all! Our races are designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced racers. The Open Race category allows you to race at your own pace, while the Competitive Race category is for those who want a more intense challenge.

Are spectators allowed at the event?

Yes, spectators are welcome and encouraged to join! They can watch the race, cheer on participants, and enjoy the energy of the event.

What is the refund policy if I can’t attend the race?

Unfortunately, all registrations are non-refundable. However, if you can’t make it, you may be able to transfer your registration to another person. Contact our support team via email support@ocrtigers.com for details on transferring your spot.

Will there be any CASH prizes for the winners?

Yes! The top 3 male and female finishers in the Elite 8km Race will receive medals and cash prizes of a total of $10,000. There will also be finisher medals, starter and finisher t-shirts for everyone who completes the race, regardless of category.

How do I register for a race?

Simply click the “Register” button on our website, select your preferred race and division, and complete the sign-up form. We recommend registering early, as spots can fill up fast!

What ages are eligible for the Kids’ Races?

Our Kids’ Races are designed for ages 4-14, with two divisions:

600m for ages 4-9

1200m for ages 9-14

These shorter, age-appropriate courses allow young racers to safely experience the excitement of OCR.

Is there a bag check available at the race?

Yes, we will have a bag check area where you can securely store your belongings during the race. Please bring only essential items, and avoid bringing valuables to the event.

Can I volunteer at the event?
